Who:

GaGaVida is made up of one dedicated owner and designer, one part time intern assistant, and a handful of loyal, and amazing models.  (Some models have been here since the beginning, several years ago!)  To see the current model roster, and view each mode's work portfolio - visit the "Models" page. 

Where:

GaGaVida is based in Denver, CO - however, we have customers all over the US, and the world.  Our online business remains the primary niche, which should allow us to grow our footprint with each sale across the globe.  Running our business online is a familiar niche, with years of experience and amazing customer service to bridge the distance gap that separates us from our customers.

What:

GaGaVida began as an effort to unload the large amounts of vintage clothing that lurked in the closets of our owner...

it didn't take long for vintage auctions to become a vintage shop, or for handmade creations to start popping up next to the vintage clothing and accessories.  The first handmade items to in the shop were the "Pop Prayer Candles"  - followed by jewelry, reconstructed vintage handbags, then hair accessories, and eventually the move to wedding accessories and apparel.   After the wedding and wardrobe portions for GaGaVida began to pick up, it finally marked the end to "GaGaVida Vintage," as the vintage shop eventually dropped. 

Custom items were created out of necessity at first, but after a while it was clear that a lot of people had the need for custom pieces (accessories and apparel.)  Now, the custom necessity has become a large part of every type of handmade items, and thus GaGaVida's existence became what it is today: "Handmade Custom Pieces for Wedding or Wardrobe!"

The owner is responsible for the name, "GaGaVida" - which carries no deep-rooted, or secret meaning.  In fact, it won over many other names, and it is all due to one characteristic: it is a fun name to say.  So, that was it - and GaGaVida was born. 

GaGaVida works through separate labels: Blush by GaGaVida (the wedding line) and Gingercream by GaGaVida (the apparel line.)  The lines were introduced as part of GaGaVida last year, and were thought to be the first of several styel-specific lines to be rolled out over the years.   Time will have to tell for the future lines run by GaGaVida... but, for now the first two lines to be introduced are still the main focus for GaGaVida.
