Payment
- Payments accepted in USD (currency must be converted to USD for all international orders!)
- Payment must be received (and cleared) prior to shipment of orders; for custom orders, payment must be received (and cleared) prior to all construction of the item (contact for more details re: custom orders.)
- PayPal is the preferred method of payment for all orders! Please contact us directly to set up alternative payment arrangement, if necessary (when needed, either RME or Google Checkout can be used as an alternative to PayPal.)
- For those unfamiliar with the Etsy ordering process, please read the short step-by-step instructions provided by Etsy. This is important, as Etsy uses a two step process for ordering, and then payment (because payment must be sent directly to each Etsy seller, while the initial order is placed through Etsy.) This quick guide to ordering on Etsy will prevent any delays, or other issues caused by unfamiliarity with the process; very quick & highly recommended!
- A note re: PayPal forms of payment: One specific method of payment is discouraged, which is choosing to pay by “e-check” using your PayPal account. It is recommended that you set up another form of payment in your account (many choices are available, including direct bank transfers, or EFT – as well as using your credit or debit card of choice.)
- Many times, customers are unaware that they have chosen the pay by “e-check” – however, it can cause substantial delays in shipping your order: payment made via “e-check” will take up to 2-3 weeks to clear, and fully process! (Remember, orders cannot be shipped until payments clear – we cannot make exceptions on this.)

Shipping
- Shipping costs included in listed items are for our standard shipping, which is USPS Priority (2-3 day delivery for domestic.)
- Non-custom orders are typically shipped within 24-48 hours of receiving payment (for custom order timelines, please contact us directly.)
- USPS Express Shipping may be available for an additional fee – please contact us directly to inquire.
- Also available for an additional $2.00 fee (for domestic shipments) is insurance for your shipment, provided through USPS. While we do not require shipments to have insurance added, we do recommend it – as GaGaVida cannot be held responsible for any packages lost, or damaged by USPS during shipment. If you would like to add insurance to your shipment, please contact us prior to making payment; we will send you a revised invoice to reflect the charge for insurance.
- International Clients: We do ship to most international locations!
- Please contact us prior to placing your order to confirm availability to your location: if available, we will adjust the listing(s) that you want to order to include the shipping cost to your location, which you can then order as usual!
- To add insurance to international orders – please include this in your initial shipping inquiry, so that we can confirm availability and add the cost to the updated listing, etc.
- Combined shipping discounts are typically available as well – please contact us prior to ordering to confirm availability and details!
- A note regarding your shipping address:
- It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of shipping information provided to us through both Etsy, as well as PayPal (or other payment alternatives.) Please be sure to check the shipping information saved in both accounts to ensure that we receive both addresses that match, and without any typos/errors, etc. GaGaVida cannot be held responsible for any delays or shipping problems that arise as a result of inaccurate shipping information provided to us with your order and payment!
- Gift shipping is available, and at no additional cost (in most cases.) Please contact us prior to placing your order to confirm availability of gift shipping to the shipping location desired. At this time, we can also let you know if additional fees will be needed, or not.

Returns/Exchanges
- Policy regarding returns or exchanges may or may not be available, as policies vary from item to item.
- Contacting us prior to placing your order to is the best way to determine the available return options for the specific item(s) you want to order. We would be happy to provide the information needed – just contact us directly to ask!
- As a general rule, we try to be as fair and as reasonable as possible when dealing with returns. We provide return information upon request simply to avoid confusion from listing every possible type of variable per item, etc. So, it is our attempt to keep it simple, and it is why we invite you to inquire about your item’s available options before ordering. We will give you as much information as we can about why each item may carry a specific return policy with it, etc. – in addition to the basics.

Privacy
- The privacy policy pertains to privacy of general information, as well as email privacy:
- GaGaVida will never share, sell, trade, or give your information to another person, business, or organization, etc.
- If for any reason, there is a need to share your information in any way – it will not occur unless we have obtained specific permission from you regarding this particular instance.
- Our VIP mailing list is NOT a high volume email list – in other words, you will receive only a small amount of messages from us, and receive them only when there is information of genuine interest to share with you.
- You can be removed from the list at anytime by following the instructions contained in a message.
- We treat our VIP List members with a great deal of respect – not only by refraining from sending them worthless messages, but by taking care of them with various exclusives, free items, contests, etc. (If you are interested in learning more, you can visit the sign up page – or, contact us directly with questions.)

Custom Specific Policies
- Custom ordering details are to be handled through direct email, and sometimes phone communication (between client and designer.) Therefore, there may be instances that require discretionary decisions on the part of GaGaVida; these decisions are discretionary & handled on an individual basis.
- Due to the customized nature of custom ordering, returns are not generally accepted - however, when buying a custom garment - basic alterations to provide correct size (at time of delivery) are generally included.
- Alterations are also available to our customers - on the garments that we create, along with some that we do not... please contact us for further information!
- Again, please contact us prior to ordering to confirm the return policy regarding the items that you want to purchase – thank you!
Basic Policy Statement:
The policies listed here are intended to provide general statutes & guidelines pertaining to GaGaVida, and all of GaGaVida’s lines, shops, products, communications, and transactions. These policies are also meant provide a consistent standard in the matters listed previously.
However, these guidelines may be subject to the discretionary judgment of GaGaVida for situations that deviate from what is considered “standard.” Any exceptions to these general guidelines are determined on a discretionary, case by case basis, applicable to policies to provide the most reasonable solution to each individual issue.
